市场谣传，亿万富翁马斯克（Elon Musk）准备为旗下人工智能创业公司xAI进行“适当定价”。
CNBC 21日引述未具名消息人士报道，马斯克上周在跟xAI投资人举行电话会议时，提到了上述议题，但并未具体说明接下来的募集资金行动。熟知详情的人士解读，马斯克的评论暗示，xAI即将在近期启动一轮大规模的募集资金计划。
消息并透露，xAI营收的运行速率（run rate，通常以年化方式计算）有望达10亿美元或更高。
去（2024）年11月才刚有消息显示，xAI准备募集资金最多60亿美元、借此购买10万颗英伟达（Nvidia Corp.）处理器。据传，中东家权财富基金最终投资50亿美元，其余10亿美元则来自其他投资者。此轮募集资金使xAI的估值来到500亿美元。
最新一轮的募集资金计划，有望成为xAI另一个重要里程碑。马斯克始于3月通过社交媒体平台X宣布，xAI已通过全股票交易收购X，整合案让xAI的估值来到800亿美元、X的估值来到330亿美元（450亿美元减去120亿美元债务）。

Wccftech随后报道，CNBC节目主持人David Faber 21日推测，本轮募集资金的金额可能多达250亿美元，这会使xAI估值膨胀至1,500-2,000亿美元。Faber并指出，xAI已开始投入下一个大型训练集群项目“Colossus 2”。
爆料可信度一向很高、同时也是特斯拉投资人的Sawyer Merritt 21日通过社交平台X表示，马斯克两个月前曾公开预测，Colossus 2最终预料会采用最多100万颗英伟达GPU、成本介于350-400亿美元之间。
