号称拥有“最强法务部”的Nintendo近日就游戏模拟器问题对Yuzu发起诉讼，指控其破解Switch并绕过防盗机制，开发Switch模拟器。据悉Nintendo在Switch上加入了防止Switch平台游戏在其他设备上运行的技术。
著名游戏记者Stephen Totilo日前在X（前称Twitter）转贴美国法庭文件，表示Nintendo指控Yuzu违反《数字千禧年版权法》（DMCA） 的反规避（anti-circumvention ）和反贩运（anti-trafficking）条款，并指控Yuzu侵犯版权。Nintendo表示，Yuzu主要设计目的是为了规避任天堂Switch的多层加密，以便其用户可以在Switch以外之设备玩受版权保护的Nintendo游戏。

Nintendo指控Yuzu故意“大规模促进盗版”，因此不仅要求法院颁布“永久禁制令”以阻止Yuzu继续发展，同时Nintendo也想剥夺Yuzu的网页域名、URL，并将yuzu-emu.org网址交由Nintendo管理。Nintendo另外也要求没收并删除Yuzu有关Switch模拟器的所有数据。
据《The Verge》报道，如果Nintendo能证明Yuzu主要用途仅是为了让人能够绕过Switch游玩旗下游戏，那么Yuzu在这场官司有很大机率败诉。《The Verge》引述法庭文件数据指，Nintendo表示旗下游戏《The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom》在去年5月初达到超过百万下载，而Yuzu的Patreon会员人数同期上升了一倍，因此Nintendo认为公司权益受Yuzu侵害。
《The Verge》就事件经电邮及Discord向Yuzu查询，但迄今为止尚未收到Yuzu的回应。
